This position is responsible for daily technical oversight of the business systems area. The incumbent supervises the work and effort of the systems teams.

Responsibilities:
- Supervises professional and technical staff responsible for all phases of the system development and implementation process including analysis, design, development, testing, and ongoing support for the client area application systems
- Works with business analysts, project leaders, clients, systems manager, systems director and operational management to review and analyze short- and long-term business requirements and makes recommendations on direction
- Supervises and assigns personnel to projects; reviews the work of the junior staff, and assists the systems manager in preparing performance evaluation reports
- Leads and manages multiple applications development projects from initial concept through design, implementation, and quality assurance (QA), to delivery and maintenance of the product
- Coordinates activities with department leads both internal and external
- Identifies technical issues and evaluates alternatives and makes recommendations
- Establish and manage internal system process and procedures.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Demonstrated experience in managing technical projects and staff
- Requires strong project management experience
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrated SQL experience
- EPIC experience preferred
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Programming experience Preferred
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field or equivalency.
- Two years of experience supervising system staff and/or processes.
